  2. Divisible by 2: If a number ends in an even number it is divisible by 2. Examples: 230 122 564 786 988

  3. Divisible by 3: • If the sum of the number’s digits is divisible by 3, the number is divisible by 3. Example: 1,269 1 + 2 + 6 + 9 = 18 3 will go in to 18 evenly; therefore, the 1,269 is divisible by 3.

  4. Divisible by 5 • A number is divisible by 5, if it ends in a 0 or 5. • Examples: 25 300 1,250 22,585

  5. Divisible by 6: • A number is divisible by 6, if it is divisible by 2 AND 3. Examples: 96 divisible by 2 divisible by 3 so, it is divisible by 6 1,266

  6. Divisible by 9: • A number is divisible by 9, if the sum of the number’s digits is divisible by 9. • Example: 459 4 + 5 + 9 = 18 9 will go into 18 evenly; therefore 459 is divisible by 9.
