Make sure you are wearing proper safety clothing, including safety glasses and gloves that are made from material like leather in your bid to protect your skin from both unwanted burns and electrical shocks, before you begin working. Wear clothes that cover you to the maximum, there should be minimal exposure of skin, as well as wear close-toed shoes or boots.
