  2. What is SI? • Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a cooperative learning model for enhancing students’ understanding of course materials and for improving students’ overall learning and reasoning skills.

  3. SI Subjects Offered In Semester A 2002/03 • FB2100 Accounting I • FB2200 Management Science I • FB2400 Economics I • FB2500 Management Information System I

  4. Registration • On-line registration is available on 2/9-13/9/2002 at http://fbweb.cityu.edu.hk/bba/lec/ • Seats are offered on a first-come-first-served basis. • SI classes will start from Week 3 to Week 12. • Students are allowed to enroll for maximum 3 subjects only. • Students need to pay for caution money of HK$100(by cheque) which will be refunded after attending 80% of classes. • Training will be provided to SI participating students before Week 4.

  5. Important Dates • Online registration of SI program 2/9-13/9/2002 • Opening Ceremony of SI Program 10/9/2002(Tue) 6:30-7:30pm LT1 • Certificate Presentation Ceremony & Training for SI Students 16/9/2002(Mon) 5:30-7:30pm LT6 • SI Classes 16/9-23/11/2002(WK3-WK 12)
