  2. What is the Automated Meeting Attendance Tool? • Attendees log their attendance at each meeting • Attendance is calculated • Retains historic attendance data • Provides an electronic roster of who was at each session • Provides mechanism to record attendee affiliation

  3. BEFORE YOU USE THE ATTENDANCE TOOL:! You must have an IEEE Web Account!! You must log into myProject™ and enroll in your committee !

  4. Background Information There are 3 databases that are used; each links to the other. The key ingredient is your email address. 1. IEEE Web Account (IEEE Database) • User name and password are chosen • Email address is key • More information 2. myProject™ (Standards Association Database) • More information 3. IEEE Web Account (IEEE Database) • YOU ONLY NEED ONE WEB ACCOUNT! • Tracks your IEEE and SA Membership • Any one can get a Web Account (including non-members), • Your email address is the key! • Retains LDAP data for your Web Account access to all IEEE online services. • Provides the stepping stone for further IEEE services (email alias, online membership renewal, etc.). • Get an IEEE Web Account

  6. myProject™ (Standards Association Database) • This database uses data from IEEE Web Accounts. Email address is the key! • Provides access to PAR (project) data • Provides access to the Sponsor Ballot process • Provides mechanism to manage rosters (working group, governance, etc.) • Log onto myProject

IEEE-SA Meeting Attendance Tool • At beginning of the Meeting, register once for the week. • Log into IMAT each time you attend a session so your attendance is recorded • Calculates attendance and voting rights • Retains historic attendance data • Provides an electronic roster of who was at each session • Provides mechanism to record attendee affiliation • Uses your IEEE Web Account • Access information is provided at the meeting.

  9. IEEE-SA MEETING ATTENDANCE TOOL LOG IN STEP 1. Do you have an IEEE Web Account (IEEE Database)? • NO : • GO CREATE A WEB ACCOUNT  click here • FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO CREATE NEW WEB ACCOUNT • YES: • I have an IEEE Web Account and remember your username and password. • GO TO STEP 2 (myProject Activity Profile) • MAYBE: • I have an IEEE Web Account but don’t remember the password (username see Michael or Christina). • RESET YOUR PASSWORD  click here STEP 2. Did you enter your activity profile in myProject (Standards Association Database)? • NO: • Log onto myProject  click here • FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS • Click Manage Activity Profile • Expand IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY • Expand LOCAL AND METROPOLITAN AREAS NETWORKS • Check the box for the committees in GREEN that you are interested in • Click CONTINUE • Claim affiliation • YES: Go to step 3 STEP 3. Register your attendance with the Automated Tool at each session • Log onto the local server at:http://murphy.events.ieee.org/imat/

  11. STEP 1: Do not remember your Web Account Username or Password? Click here to reset.

  12. STEP 2: Log into myProject to enroll in committees. Click here
