  2. What is a Professional Learning Community? --OR -- A Personal Learning Network? Why should we have one? n. – the entire collection of people with whom you engage and exchange information, usually online.

  3. Here are some ways that educators are using their PLNs:-    Professional development – learn from content-area specialists-    Locate resources for your classroom, such as free websites and software-    Get lesson plan ideas from master teachers-    Learn about new technology and how to integrate it into your teaching-    Find collaborative solutions-    Find interesting links to education news

  7. Create an account. www.symbaloo.com • Verify account through your email. • Click on HOME webmix. • * Click on Change Wallpaper (optional). • Choose one of their themes. • Upload a photo of yours. • (Or) Go to Google, find a picture, Save As, and Upload it as Theme.

  10. Go back into Twitter • Sign up for account, if you haven’t already • Check out some of the ones listed on Word document • Search for other issues you might like: • Common Core • Constructivism • Politicians • Sports players, celebrities, musicians, etc.

  11. Create account, if you don’t have one. Create boards. Search for Education, Common Core, high school English, bulletin board ideas, etc., etc.
