  7. Is there an after school theatre program at BDJH? • Every student that attends BDJH is welcome to audition for the plays. • Two productions each year- • Straight play (just dialogue) in the Fall (all grades) • Musical (singing, acting, and dancing) in the Spring. • Cast - 7th and 8th grades only • Technical crew - 6th, 7th, & 8th • No previous acting experience is needed to audition! • It is for both actors and technicians (backstage work) • Audition packets will be provided with all info. a few weeks before auditions •  6th Grade Showcase – (sixth graders only) • The showcase is chance for sixth grade theatre students to have an opportunity to perform on the large stage in the cafeteria and experience the audition process during the spring semester! • Students will audition for a chance to perform one of their performances they have previously done in class on the large stage for a public audience. • Technical theatre elements such as, lights, sound, and set pieces, will be used during the performance.
