  23. 9.Another simple form of poem that students can easily write is the cinquain(五行诗), a poem made up of five lines. • 主语(整体)be made up of+宾语(部分):Our school is made up of six grades.=Six grades make up our school.

  24. Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry that is made up of 17 syllables. • 俳句 (由五、七、五共十七字组成的短诗) • Syllable n. 音节

  25. 10.Haiku is a poetic form and a type of poetry from the Japanese culture. Haiku combinesform, content, and language in a meaningful, yet compact (简洁) form. Haiku poets write about everyday things. Many themes include nature, feelings, or experiences. Usually they use simple words and grammar.

  26. The most common form for Haiku is three short lines. The first line usually contains five (5) syllables, the second line seven (7) syllables, and the third line contains five (5) syllables. Haiku doesn‘t rhyme. A Haiku must “paint” a mental image (映象)in the reader's mind. This is the challenge of Haiku.
