  4. Reform for Workers • NIRA Unconstitutional • Replaced by Wagner Act • Protected workers rights to join Unions • Led to Fair Labor Standards Act • Minimum wage, hours, conditions • Are you protected in your job?

  5. Social Security Act • 3 Major Parts • Old Age Insurance • 65 and older • Unemployment compensation • Federal tax on employers, money for set time until return to work • Aid to families w/ disabilities • Help for paying for special treatments • ISSUES TODAY??????
