  3. Types of Triangles • Equilateral Triangle • Has 3 EQUAL sides or 3 EQUAL angles (which will always be 60 degrees)

  4. Types of Triangles • Isosceles Triangle • Has 2 EQUAL sides and 2 EQUAL angles

  5. Types of Triangles • Scalene Triangle • Has NO EQUAL sides and NO EQUAL angles

  6. Types of Triangles • Acute Triangle • Each of the 3 angles are less than 90 degrees

  7. Types of Triangles • Right Triangle • One angle is 90 degrees

  8. Types of Triangles • Obtuse Triangle • Has 1 angle greater than 90 degrees

  9. Possible Assignment • Now that you have learned about the different types of triangles, you: 1. Can draw and label at least four different types of triangles 2.
