Step 2. project registration was receipted by STCU stuff - was reviewed by the vice director of STCU registration number assigned- STCU sends e-mail to project leader scientists application form (short) proposal (full) Project contract and work plan quarter, technical, annual and final report State permission vice director approves registration of the project monitoring visits, letters about changes in using of planned budget accompanying letter Meeting of administrative committee Director’s project coordinators Accountant coordinators, Specialists in purchasing STCU staff

E-mail to project leader – Azerbaijan • STCU begs to acknowledge registration of your proposal [name of proposal] and assigning registration number [№].Please, fill the application form (full form), (english and azerbaijani version) and give it to the regional office of STCU in Azerbaijan... • Please, give original and 1 copy of documents. • Deadline- 3 months from the getting date of this letter. • Your proposal have to include these documents : • STCU project proposal (in english and russian) • Forms of your previous experience for each of your team member • electronic version of your project proposal (proposal number) in CD or in another data carrier;

E-mail to project leader • Please, keep in mind that, for joint proposals with organizations from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine or Uzbekistan it’s important to submit state permissions from each country, those included to project. • You can change your proposal, only with STCU’s project programme., which you can download from www.stcu.int/stcups/

General information about the proposal • Project name • Choose short and informative name for the project. • Short information about the project • This information must include the aim of project, expecting results and it’s significance in world scale. • Duration of the project • Determine time intervals over a period that, STCU support is needed for carrying out of the project.

  19. Describing of the project proposal • Introduction • What is the problem? • Estimate the problem for current time and explain it’s importance.

Describing of the project proposal • References • What do other peoples do? • Talk about the most significant results and weak sides in this sphere and it’s status in your country. • Talk about leading scientists and experts in this field. • How their results can be applied? • Talk about some technical, commercial, industrial or other possible use of investigations in this sphere...

Complete your describing with pictures, schemes, diagrams depending on project specification. Your describing have to cover all main aspects of the problem. • What is the aim of the project? • Shortly form the main aim of your project.

  23. Describing of the project proposal • Expected estimation of the project: • What is new in your project? • Especially define and compare new and unique investigations in your project which differ from other investigations. • If it’s possible, confirm your ideas with references.

Describing of the project proposal • Expected results • What will we do in this project? • Define and describe scientific, technical, commercial and other results which your will get with this project. • what about next steps? • Estimate possible spheres of applying project results, possible industrial, economical and other advantages which you can get using this project. • Justify these advantages with numerical data.

If your project has limited ability, then describe how are you going to use your results in order to get financing for further investigations. Shortly note, direction of these investigations.
