  2. Title • The most preferable and trusted brand of laptop that being used among the UMP students.

  3. Introduction • The introduction of our research is about the most preferable and trusted brand of laptop that used by University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students. • Planning to conduct a survey for university students in order to complete the task. • Besides that, we also need to write a complete report to present our research by end of the semester. • Generally, we will discuss the main topic such as most preferable brand of laptop and factor influence student when purchasing a laptop in our final report.

  4. Background of study • Computer or laptop is one thing cannot be lack in our modern world. • Due to various brand of laptop produce, student may have various choices in purchasing a laptop. The best laptop is different for everybody. • Some of the students want a laptop that will just be used for the basics such as completing the task, assignment and project.

  5. Students want a more sophisticated laptop that features high definition graphics. • When student purchasing a laptop, the financial problem is also the factor cannot be ignored. It is because some of the students come from different background of family. So, they also want to consider their parent ability to buy laptop for them. • sophisticated -developed to a high degree of complexity

  6. Statement of Problem • As the development of technology becomes more advanced, the various brands of laptops are produced by different company. Students generally have their own problems in making decision when purchasing a laptop for study use. Factors that influence their choices include financial problems and functions of laptop,

  7. Objective of Study 1.) to identify the important features UMP students want in a laptop. 2.) to determine the reason why the students prefer to use a certain brand of laptop.

  8. Research Questions 1.) What are the important features UMP students want in a laptop? 2.) What is the reason that students prefer to use a certain brand of laptop?

  9. Significance of Study The findings for the some question are important in order to • provide information about student’s personal preference in choosing a laptop for themselves. • the problem that the research group identified was the struggle for students to find the right kind of laptop to suit their individual needs.

  10. Significance of Study • help researcher to determine the main reason of students prefer to choose a certain brand of laptop. • teach the students an appropriate way to save budget when purchasing a laptop.

  11. Scope of Study • focus on the issues of most preferable and trusted brand of laptop used by university students. • respondents – 50 university students, from different faculties, 25 males and 25 females. • this was determined to further get a better idea to elaborate on laptops as well as represent in a survey report.
