  2. Clinical case • 4 month old • 2 day history of coryzal symptoms, decreased feeding and increased WOB this morning • Bilateral wheeze and crepitation's on exam • Diagnosis • Bronchiolitis • Supportive Management • O2 • Hydration

  3. Background Leading cause of hospital admissions in the first year (21% in the USA). Mainstay of treatment is supportive. Fluid replacement required in 1 in 3 Nasogastric and intravenous hydration both used Potential advantages of NG feeding

  4. No trial has compared methods of hydration in infants admitted to hospital. Aim to compare the 2 methods in previously healthy infants admitted with bronchiolitis.
