  3. The first 2 steps • to get the reed out of the reed box. • put the reed in your mouth for about 30 – 40 seconds

  4. The next 2 steps… • Next get the mouthpiece • Take the reed out of your mouth

  5. The next 2 steps… • Put the ligature on the mouthpiece. • put the mouthpiece on neck, cork side.

  6. The final 2 steps. • put the neck on the body • Put your teeth on top of the mouthpiece; cover it with your top lip. Cover your bottom teeth with your lower lip. Now . . . Blow!

  7. Tips and tricks. Blow hard for loud, soft for quiet Always practice!
