  3. Activation keys IP Extension Capacity IP Extensions

  4. Activation keys IP Extension Capacity IP Extensions • System requiring 82 extensions, including 1 IP softphone and 1 NT700 • 1 x KX-NSM010 • 1 x KX-NSM201 • 1 x KX-NSM701 • 4 x KX-NSM520

  5. Activation keys IP Extension Capacity - KX-NSM0xx Description IP Extension capacity activation keys are used to allow the growth of NS1000 users by allowing extra blocks of extensions to be added as the system grows past the default 30 IP Extension capacity all the way up to 640. How they are used The NS1000 is delivered with 30 extensions capacity as default. As the system grows past 30 and extra capacity is needed, extra licenses can be added to unlock the increase required. IP Extension Capacity Activation Keys are required for all IP endpoints including Panasonic SIP and IP, third party SIP phones, IP softphones and SIP DECT portable stations. However it is not needed when using IP-CS Cell Stations and Panasonic TCA / WT DECT PS

  6. Activation keys IP Extension – KX-NSMxxx Description IP Extension activation keys are used to enable endpoints to be used with the NS1000. All terminals or softphones require an IP Extension activation key How they are used There are a number of different terminals and endpoints that can be used with the NS1000. The Activation Key required for each endpoint will depend on what type of device it is. For example activations keys are available for third party SIP terminals and for Panasonic IP, SIP and softphones. IP extension keys are also required for SIP DECT portable stations but not for Panasonic TCA and WT DECT PS.

  7. Activation keys IP Trunks

  8. Activation keys IP Trunks • System requiring 42 SIP Trunks • 3 x KX-NSM116 = 48 trunks • Or • 2 x KX-NSM116 • 1 x KX-NSM108 • 1 x KX-NSM102 = 42 trunks

  9. Activation keys IP Trunks – KX-NSM1xx Description IP Trunk activation keys are used to enable IP based trunks to be used with the NS1000. IP Trunk activation keys are required for SIP and H.323 trunks. TDM or analogue trunks do not require any activation keys How they are used In order for the NS1000 to be used with IP based trunks (SIP/H.323), the correct activation key needs to be applied to enable the correct number of IP trunks. SIP trunks allows fast addition of channels as required without the need for any additional hardware. H.323 trunks are also available and are used mostly for QSIG enabled IP networking.

  10. Activation keys Networking

  11. Activation keys Networking • 2 systems networked using OneLook • 2 x KX-NSN001 = 1 per system

  12. Activation keys Networking – KX-NSN00x Description Networking activation keys are required if the unit is to be made part of a wider network. Activation keys are available for both OneLook (required in each unit) and QSIG networking (required in each master unit). How they are used Adding an NS1000 to a network will require the application of a networking activation key. Panasonic OneLook networking allows up to 16 NS1000 devices to work in a network offering integrated directories and cross network applications. QSIG networking allows NS1000 units to be linked together to offer greater capacity and integration with other systems.

  13. Activation keys Mobile Extension

  14. Activation keys Mobile Extension • 50 users requiring mobile twinning • 2 x KX-NSF120 • 1 x KX-NSF110

  15. Activation keys Mobile Integration - KX-NSF1xx Description Mobile integration activation keys are required to allow mobile handsets and smartphones to be integrated with the NS1000 How they are used Any user who requires their mobile phone to be used as an extension of the NS1000 will require this activation key. Mobile extensions can be paired with desktop terminals such as NT or UT devices to allow twin ringing, internal call transfer, etc

  16. Activation keys Unified Messaging

  17. Activation keys Unified Messaging 12 hours voice mail storage with 8 channels 1 x KX-NSU001 1 x KX-NSU102 1 x KX-NSU104 More storage than 15 hours requires a hardware upgrade

  18. Activation keys Voice Mail - KX-NSUxxx Description Voice mail activation keys allow the expansion of the voice mail and the addition of Voice mail ports to allow system expansion How they are used The NS1000 has a default 2 port UM with 2 hours storage built in. Expansion of this capacity to 15 hours can take place by using activation key KX-NSU001. If a user requires more than 15 hours, extra physical storage memory needs to be installed (up to 1000 hours). The NS1000 also allow up to 24 ports for voice mail and these can be enabled in steps by using the 2 and 4 channel Voice Mail activation keys.

  19. Activation keys Unified Messaging 50 users requiring managed Voice Mail e-mail delivery 2 x KX-NSU220 1 x KX-NSU210

  20. Activation keys Voice Mail/Fax email delivery - KX-NSU2xx Description Incoming voice mail and fax can be sent as attachments to e-mail. This activation key enables the features How they are used When using the voice mail solution, there is an option to have the voice mails delivered as attachments on an e-mail. In addition, users with optional fax server card can have incoming faxes delivered to individual or group mailboxes and emails. This licence is required to activate this function.

  21. Activation keys Unified Messaging 45 users requiring managed manual 2 way recording 1 x KX-NSU002 2 x KX-NSU320 1 x KX-NSU310

  22. Activation keys 2 way recording - KX-NSU3xx Description Allows users to have manual or automatic call recording on the IP terminals of their choice. How they are used In order to activate automatic call recording, this option needs to be configured via the maintenance web interface. On-demand (manual) two way recording can be started using a pre-programmed key on the terminal or by clicking a button on CA – when using NT terminals only. This activation key is required for either option.

  23. Activation keys 2 way recording management - KX-NSU002 Description This activation key is required when a manager or business owner requires the ability to set up, access and manage automatic call recording for users How it is used Two way call recording can be managed remotely by a manager via web. This activation keys allows full access to enable and disable automatic recording. It also allows the manager to view and listen to all the call recordings that have been made centrally via the web interface.

  24. Activation keys Unified Messaging Message Back-up - KX-NSU002 Description Allows the backup of all unified messaging media to an external source How it is used All unified messaging media, voice and fax, can be backed up to an external source. An external storage device with USB interface can be used for message storage purposes.

  25. Activation keys Communication Assistant

  26. Activation keys Communication Assistant 120 users requiring CA Pro plus 1 CA console 1 x KX-NSA401 1 x KX-NSA249

  27. Activation keys Communication Assistant - KX-NSA2xx/301/401 Description Allows users the use of Communications Assistant linked to the NS1000 How they are used These activation keys offer users access to Communication Assistant, either serverless or via CA Server. Users can access CA Supervisor, CA Console or CA Pro using activation keys. However CA Basic Express is available without an activation key.

  28. Activation keys Communications Assistant Network Plug-in licenseKX-NSA9xx Description Required to allow CA server communication via QSIG networking How they are used When multiple CA servers are used to connect with NS1000 systems linked together using QSIG networking, this license is needed to allow the servers to communicate with each other. It is not required when NS1000 systems are linked using OneLook networking.

  29. Activation keys CTI activation keys - KX-NSF101 Description This activation key is required when a non Panasonic application is attached to the NS1000 via CTI. How they are used 1 Application Connected to N1S000 Application server PBX CSTA / 3rd party TSP Any non-Panasonic application connected will require the 3rd party CTI interface
