My question is…Why do we shrink when we get old??? • What are the deadliest fish in the oceans • How was the sun and the planets in our solar system Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus,Neptune,and Pluto. • What are some ways to jump higher in basketball • Why do people get white hairs as they get older and how are they formed.?

  13. This leads us to the fun part... Get ready to have some fun with your parent!

  14. Materials: - Pen or pencil and paper for each pair - Paper bag with hidden object for each pair Steps: -Sit back-to-back with your parent. - Choose who will go first. That person will secretly look at the item in the bag. - That person will draw a picture of the object with their non-dominant hand. - Show your partner your picture and let the guessing begin! Each team gets 3 guesses. - Switch places and choose a new item for the other person to draw. - Repeat LET’S PLAY! “What Is That?” Pair up with your parent for this game...

  15. Materials: • 1 sheet of construction paper • Scissors • glue/tape/stapler Paper Chain Challenge With your parent, create the longest paper chain you can. You may only use the materials provided. You will have 5-10 minutes to complete your chain.

  16. Everyone will receive the name of a celebrity taped to their back. You are allowed to ask everyone else questions in order to figure out WHO AM I? Celebrity Name Game Identity Crisis??

  18. Facts about Ms. McCormick: • I have a 2nd degree brown belt in karate. • I have a record for the 100 yard butterfly at my high school. • I used to be a D.J. before I became a teacher.

  19. Your Turn! • Come up with 2 facts and a fib about yourself. • You can write them down or keep them in your head or draw pictures of each one. • Be ready to share with the group so we can all share and figure out which are true and which are lies!

Pick a colorful object from the bag. • You must tell a story in order to keep it. • Red: If you could change 1 thing about school, what would it be? • Blue: What is your best academic strength? • Orange: What do adults get to do that kids should also get to do? • Yellow: What is one charity you would donate to if you had $1,000 specifically for that purpose? • Green: What is important to you in a friend? • Each person can do more than one color each.
