    20. A person’s moral foundations are generally in place by the time they reach age nine. A person’s response to the meaning and personal value of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection is usually determined before a person reaches eighteen. In most cases people’s spiritual beliefs are irrevocably formed when they are pre-teens. Adult church leaders usually have serious involvement in church life and training when they are young. Research Shows That Spiritual Maturity Process Should Start at a Young Age George Barna www.barna.org WHY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION?

    21. Is the primary responsibility of parents. Is a 24 hour-a-day, 7 days-per-week process that continues from birth till maturity. Must have as its primary goals the salvation of and discipleship of the next generation. Must be based on God’s Word as absolute truth. Must hold Christ as preeminent in all of life. Must not hinder the spiritual and moral development of the next generation “Ten Biblical Principles of Education” Kingdom Education: God’s Plan for Educating Future Generations by Glen Schultz WHY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION?

    22. If and when delegated by parents, must be done with utmost care to ensure that all teachers follow these principles. Results in the formation of a belief system or worldview that will be patterned after the belief systems or worldviews of the person’s teachers. Must lead to true wisdom and understanding by connecting all knowledge to a biblical worldview framework. Must have a view of the future that includes the eternal perspective. “Ten Biblical Principles of Education” Kingdom Education: God’s Plan for Educating Future Generations by Glen Schultz WHY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION?

    23. A long tradition of quality Christian education, in operation since 1969. The school’s longevity speaks to its commitment to students & families. We partner with parents to meet the needs of your child’s total development. We provide a safe environment. The Barna Group cited that the #1 reason parents choose a private Christian school is safety. We strive to maintain a close-knit community with a feeling of extended family. We recognize each child’s unique gifting, talent and value to the school, the community and to Christ. We provide an effective educational structure for the student body, while also allowing creativity and flexibility in meeting the students’ diverse needs. We take education seriously, but we also love to have FUN! WHY WHCS?
