  4. The followings is discussed after: Driving to the camp place, Meeting point What do you need to bring? setting the camp Breakfast, Packing up, return Cross country flight, And Ultralight planes

  5. TIMETABLE FRIDAY • 2:00PM: MEETING JAZEERAH • 2:30PM: BRIEFING • 3:00PM WHEEL VEHICLES GO. • 3:30PM PARAMOTORS GO. • 3:30PM PLANES GO. • 5:00PM SET UP THE CAMP

  6. TIMETABLE SATURDAY • 6:00AM-07:00AM PARAMOTOR 2ND CROSS-COUNTRY • DEPENDING ON EVERYONE’S MOOD, WAKE UP, BREAKFAST, SOCIALIAZING… • QUAD, 4X4 PLAY AROUND • AROUND 12:00 PACKING UP THE CAMP • RETURN HOME

  8. From DUBAI, TAKE E311(EMIRATES ROAD), To RAS AL KAIMAH TAKE « AQUALAND »EXIT, AND DRIVE UNTIL COAST ROAD AT COAST ROAD, TAKE RIGHT(TOWARDS RAK), WHEN PASSING UMM AL QUWAIN AIRPORT (YOU WILL SEE A BIG PLANE): HOW TO GO? DRIVE 15KM, LOOK RIGHT, YOU’RE THERE

DRIVING TO THE « CAMP » • DRIVING TO THE CAMP WILL BE UNDER SUPERVISION OF ONE OF BRIEFED FRIEND • CAMP IS 28KM OF JAZEERAH, 13KM ON ROAD, 15KM OFF ROAD, WHICH CAN BE PERFORMED ON GOOD GRAVEL TRACK, OR, THROUGH SAND DUNES(ADVANCED). • CAMP IS 1KM FROM A BIG RED AND WHITE ANTENNA(VERY EASY TO USE AS REFERENCE) • Little talented 4X4 driver CAN ACCESS CAMPING SPOT VIA A GOOD GRAVEL TRACK (AND 5MN WALK). No need to be an expert in desert driving • TIME TO REACH ¨SPOT AROUND 1HOUR

  11. DRIVING TO THE « CAMP » Drive under E311, through tunnel, and go straight until crossing a big red and white power lines. A couple of hundred meters after, take right on a great gravel track. GPS N25°36.277 E055°51.430, or, 13KM from the club! • Exit the club to coast road and take right. Drive 15km off road, following gravel track, that becomes sand from time to time, using the big red and white antenna as a reference, • Take 1st right, that road goes back to Emirates road(but don t take E311)

  16. Preparation: Each individual, is reponsible for it’s own equipment. We recommand the followings: • - »Survival and comfort equipment », Food, beverages, cloth, camping (tent/ mattress/ pillow/ blanket/soap/toilet paper…). • - Safety equipment, for cars(spare wheel, ropes, compressors, extinguishers...), and for individuals(solar cream, sun glasses, desinfectant…) • - Navigation equipment: GPS, maps • - MOBILES MUST! WATER and MOBILES are a

SETTING THE CAMP USEFUL INFORMATION -IT’S COLD IN THE DESERT AT NIGHT!(in winter) -DO NOT PLAY WITH FIRE CLOSE TO THE TENTS!(highly inflammable) -AT NIGHT, WEAR SHOES, AS YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE WALKING ON -AT NIGHT, MAKE SURE CARS ARE LOCKED, AND YOU KNOW WHERE THE KEYS ARE BE CAREFUL, AS IT IS QUICKLY COMPLICATE TO RECOVER FROM A LOOSY SITUATION, IN THESE KIND OF PLACE

  19. PACKING UP • RESPECT ENVIRONMENT: -NO LEFT BEHIND GARBAGE -NO TOILET PAPER ALL AROUND(BURY THEM) -DON’T FORGET ANYTHING
