You can help in more than one area.  Google Form You must also fill out the WA State Patrol sheet, the checklist, and the Hold Harmless Agreement on file in the office.

  6. Homework Policy What are the expectations? • Students should expect 40 minutes of homework per night. • Students are reminded every morning what needs to be handed in and where to put it. • Any work that is late is expected to be done in a timely manner. Missing work can sometimes be made up during second recess. • Most work is reviewed as a class; however, some work is graded by me and by volunteers. • I will not give homework when families go on vacation.

  8. Absent Policy • “We missed you while you were gone” forms will be filled out for absent students. • Child receives work on desk • One week to finish • Parents fill out absent forms • No absent work

  9. 507’s Behavior Expectations • BE RESPECTFUL  • BE RESPONSIBLE   • MAKE GOOD CHOICES Benefits to Self-Managers include: • Use of Pod Room • Chance Cards • Knowing that you are meeting 507’s behavior expectations.

Smarties • As a class they can earn up to 2 Smarties a day. • If they are not making smart choices as a class, they lose a Smartie. • When the jar is filled they will receive a class reward. • Examples of Rewards: • Movie(End of the year) • Class game • Board game time • Read-In • Day of Gum/Lifesavers • Extra Recess • Social Time • Sweat Treat • Popcorn from Ms. B

  14. Chance Cards • Given out to individual students • Showing positive behavior • Chance to get card pulled for…. - 15 minutes of computer time - Prize Pick - Homework coupon - Lunch in classroom
