  1. PTAC Program Overview PTAC of South Central Michigan a A Member of The Enterprise Group of Jackson, Inc. PTACs are not-for-profit organizations dually funded by the State of Michigan and Department of Defense/Defense Logistics Agency. Reproduction and / or distribution of documentation, in addition to the reselling of PTAC services, is strictly, prohibited.

  2. What is a PTAC? • PTACs are a local non-profit resource available at nominal or no cost, that provide assistance to businesses in marketing products & services to federal, state and local governments • 10 centers in Michigan • 93 PTACs nationwide http://www.ptacsofmichigan.org

  3. What is a PTAC? The Procurement Technical Assistance Center is funded by the Department of Defense & the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to educate primarily small businesses regarding government contracting.

Federal FY 2010 • $538 billion • Total federal purchases of goods/services • $98 billion • Total Federal purchases of goods/services awarded to small businesses State of Michigan • 1,100 multi-year contracts, worth billions PTACs of Michigan have helped over 3,500 companies reach over $821 million in Federal, State, and Local Prime and Sub Contracts.
