  1. Japanese Point of View: December 7, 1941 was the day we decided to strike back. The United States refused to sell us oil, they were helping the Chinese, and they have bases all over the Pacific. Pearl Harbor is located is the Island of Oahu, a Hawaiian island. The day after the event, President Roosevelt declared war on the Japanese.
