Urban Economics In Urban Areas there are few opportunities for employment which include, but are not limited to: Convenience Shops Various jobs in restaurants Souvenir Shops Tourism related businesses (lodging, internet cafes, transportation services) Boto-Boto Transportation Services (a popular inexpensive transportation method) Drum Making

  4. Rural Economics Little opportunity for economic advancement. Many people leave rural areas to seek the employment opportunities in urban areas.

  5. Opportunities for sustainability include: Agriculture Livestock Handmade Crafts Drum Making In small communities we observed that the exchange of necessities is more common than exchange of money.

  7. Youth Focus on Africa Foundation “Working Towards a Transformed Uganda” The community empowerment center. Helping rural women, youth and children reach full potential through information training and education.
