Recycling Bins • Before • 2 Wheelie Bins for Waste – 110L Capacity • All waste going to landfill • Today • 1 Locked Waste Wheelie Bin – 110L Capacity • 3 Recycling Bins for plastics/paper • 3 Recycling Bins for Cardboard - Crusher on site • Clear Bags used in Canteen to easily identify recyclables

  5. Tyres • “One mans waste is another’s raw material” • Tyres now collected by Pat Kelleher and used in his Tyre Recycling plant, PK Rubber, to make shredded rubber utilised in Equestrian Market, Landscaping market, Sports facilities & Playgrounds etc.

  6. Metal • 2007 • Waste metal used to go to landfill • Today • Cork Metal provide us with a skip • Collection of skip is Free of Charge • All metal is now diverted from landfill

  7. Waste Oil & Batteries • Collected by Enva Ireland Ltd • Waste oil destined for a plant in Lindenschmidt, Germany
