  6. Spring Quarter of Events • University of Minnesota Guest Speaker– Monday, April 9th • Time and Location: 3pm to 4pm at Bldg 4 2-314 • Come and hear talk from Uni. Of Minn. Recruiter. She will talk about different pharmacy careers and about Uni. Of Minnesota. • Signature School Beautification Project – Saturday, April 14th • Time and Location: 8am to 4pm at 1170 Washington St, Pomona Ca • Reminder for those who signed up

Spring Quarter of Events • UCSF Pharmacy Info Day- Los Angeles/Long Beach – Saturday, April 14 • Time and Location: 9am to 3pm at 4101 East Willow Street, Long Beach, CA 90815 • Deadline to register and Fee: Saturday April 7 2012, $30 • Register: https://pharmacyinfodaylongbeach.eventbrite.com/ • Pharmacy Application Workshop- Wednesday, April 18, 2012 • Time and Location: 6pm to 8pm, location is Bldg 8-156 • We will be discussing how to apply and about the interview process. Recently accepted Pharmacy School students will run the workshop. • USC Career & Dual Degree session- Tuesday, April 24 • Time and Location: 6:15pm to when it ends, TBA for location • USC Alumni will discuss the careers and the future job market. • Relay For Life – Friday – Saturday, April 27-28, 2012 • Time and Location starts at 1pm on 27 and ends at 28, at Bronco Commons • Register for Event: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=39927 • The fundraising goal is $150 and join the Sci-Squard.

Spring Quarter of Events • Arthritis Foundation of Inland Empire- April 29, 2012 • Time and Location: 9am to 11am The Shops at Dos Lagos (2780 Cabot Dr # 140, Corona, CA 92883) • This is reminder for people who signed up. • Boomers Social – TBA • We have limited tickets. There will be a $10 fee to attend. If you sign up, you will put on wait list. If the people who originally say they want to attend drop out, then you can take their spot. • End of the Year Club Banquet- May 18, 2012 • Time and Location: 7pm to 10pm at the BSC- Orion suites • It will be free to all paid members. We are allowing guests, but they will have to pay a small fee for attendance.

  13. Drug of the Week • Lipitor (Atorvastatin) • Lipitor reduces levels of "bad" cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein, or LDL) and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing levels of "good" cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein, or HDL). Source: drugs.com
