  2. Initiating It is the introduction of the story. It is the event or action that begins the series of events. Examples:

  3. Rising The events that lead up to the most exciting part of the story. This may be a long series of events Examples:

  4. Climax The most exciting part of the story, where all the rising action reaches its peak. This may sometimes be near the end of the story. Examples:

  5. Falling The events that take place right after the climax. These are usually the effects of the climax. Examples:

  6. Denouement(de-know-maugh) It is the end of the falling actions. It is also the part at the end of the plot that reveals the outcome, or the answers to all the mysteries. Examples:
