  12. State of the art in WEEE recycling 12

  13. Rewinoutcomes (1) • Developing a system structure for a chain approach of EEE including collection, recycling, production, system enforcement, supervision and monitoring and applying tasks and responsibilities to different organisations and stakeholders • implementation of an online Waste Tracking System (e-WTS) • training toolkits on e-WTS • guidelines for registering and using the e-WTS system for producers, recyclers and authorities.

  14. Rewinoutcomes (2) • Case studies and manual for material flow analysis for electronic producers and recyclers • Training toolkits Design for Recycling • Action plans developed by the selected SMEs of the electronics industry • Secondary Materials Exchange Platform (SMEP) to link supply and demand of secondary raw materials.

  15. Rewinoutcomes (3) • Adapted standard for collection and recycling of WEEE • Best practice examples for the use of secondary materials and Design for Recycling. • Setting up a policy framework for the promotion of resource efficiency and sustainable production • Build up a network for stakeholders in order to use the e-WTS and SMEP for improving resource efficiency in production of electronic products and recycling of WEEE.
