  3. S@LS Blog (1 of 2) • Idea is to create a site where ideas can be posted and commented upon • Would like to maintain a better signal/noise ratio than Slashdot • Topics could include: • New methods, Case studies, Responses to new threats S@LS- Internet2 2003 Fall Member Meeting

  4. S@LS Blog (2 of 2) • Content submissions should highlight: • Pros & Cons • Effective Against • Collateral Damage • Costs (one-time and ongoing) • Impact • Performance, User, System administration, Network Operation S@LS- Internet2 2003 Fall Member Meeting

Centers of Excellence • Highlight institutions that are successfully implementing methods • Have institutions host informational pages describing setup, operational requirements, lessons learned along with feedback from others (collection of of “war stories”) S@LS- Internet2 2003 Fall Member Meeting

  6. Regularly Scheduled Mtgs • Create a S@LS Working Group and meet at Member Meetings? • Support telecons to discuss issues? • Meetings would be used to supplement previously identified activities S@LS- Internet2 2003 Fall Member Meeting
