Where do I start? • To make it more personal and memorable, think about a favorite character from a TV show, video game, or movie. • OR you can think about a concept that you particularly enjoy (i.e., Secret Agent, Halloween themed, etc.) • Find good reference pictures! • $$$ SAVE THAT MONEY!!! $$$

  3. Look at the Basics • Find patterns at local fabric stores, fabric magazines, and people around the internet. Social media is your friend! • Functionalism: You don’t have to have the most expensive equipment to make a good costume. Use what you have with skill and confidence! (recyclable material, old clothes)

  4. Sometimes Improvisation is Better • Things don’t have to be technically perfect. • Use old clothes and materials around the house! • You can even make good armor out of cardboard lying around:
