  4. Arizona State University-Phoenix College Partnership Program for Medical Laboratory Science Phoenix College and Arizona State University implemented a 90:30 agreement for a Bachelor in Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science in fall 2010 to meet the demand for Laboratory professionals. Students can essentially earn a bachelor degree on the Phoenix College campus. Hybrid delivery and videoconferencing technology expand the program statewide. A unique cutting edge aspect of this innovative partnership is ASU recognized higher education costs were a challenge for many students, and offered a 90:30 agreement for students to complete up to 90 credits through the community college system and 30 upper division credits through ASU while PC provides the student laboratory. All Medical Laboratory Science (MDL) courses are taught on the Phoenix College (PC) campus. The ASU MDL program director has an office on the PC campus, and the BAS level MDL courses are taught by associate professors of ASU on the PC campus. Students can complete the program while working.
