  4. Compulsory course • Three credit hours • Total of 100 marks • Course is divided into Five parts

  5. PART-I Historical Foundations of Pakistan and Creation of Pakistan

  6. PART-II Political and Constitutional developments in Pakistan (1947-2011)

  7. PART-III Pakistan’s Culture, Economy and Social Issues

  8. PART-IV Geography of Pakistan

  9. PART-V Foreign Policy of Pakistan

  10. Methodology • Class Lectures and Discussions will be the method of teaching and learning • Readings will be recommended/provided, but students should have to prepare their notes themselves • Study will be based on analysis and critics but not just on narration of events

  11. Cramming will be strongly discouraged • 50 % course is consisted of Daily newspaper knowledge, So daily newspaper reading is highly recommended. • Research paper/Term Paper and Presentations will be delivered individually.

  12. SOP’s • 80 % Attendance is compulsory • No attendance of late comers • No make up Sessional/quizzes • Students will consult the library for study material • All covered course will be included in upcoming exams.

  13. Assessment • 1st sessional 10 marks • 2nd sessional 15 marks • Research paper/Book review & Presentation 15 marks • Quizzes & Assignment 10 marks • Terminal 50 marks
