  4. “The Parable of the Good Samaritan” What is written in the law? How did the people act around the man who was injured? Who is your neighbor? What was the purpose of this passage in the Bible?

  5. “The Suffering Savior” What are transgressions? The act of transgressing; the violation of a law or a duty or moral principle What are iniquities? 1. lack of justice or righteousness; wickedness; injustice 2. a wicked act; sin Why is this passage so important? How does it apply to our own life?

  6. “The Twelve Spies” Who were these spies? Why were they spying on the land of Canaan? When the spies returned what did They conclude (report of what they saw)? What is the message or the main point(s)?

Once you have finished this assignment, report to your junior commander, commander, or leader(s) so that they may give you the appropriate signatures needed for this merit.
