  2. Beatriz Armendariz, a well qualified professional, holds years of experience in serving as a Lecturer at several prestigious educational institutions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM), Mexico. She later joined the University of Cambridge, UK, and thereby completed her M. Phil in Economics in 1986. Besides, she also holds a doctorate in Economics from EHESS, Paris, France, with Dissertation on “Foreign Debt Negotiations: An Historical and Theoretical Analysis”.   3. Throughout her career, Beatriz Armendariz has worked with many leading educational institutions. From 2000 to 2002, she served as Research Fellow at the Center for International Development (CID), Harvard University. The CID is a nonprofit academic research center that focuses on generating shared and sustainable prosperity in developing nations. As Harvard’s main center for research on international development, CID actively creates, integrates and applies knowledge from the university and beyond to promote understanding of development solutions and challenges.
