  2. Objectives • By the end of this section/lesson, students should be able to: • Read and write ordinal numbers

  3. Activity 1: Brainstorming How would you tell the level of a building or the order of the students in the queue? Note: 1. The students can be made to stand up in a queue to reproduce same. 2. Teacher to start ordinal numbers in French or Creole and then translate the same to English. These languages are closer to the students and using them, can create more familiarity.

  4. More examples for use of Ordinal Numbers In a race, the runner who is number one to touch the finishing line comes first and the rank of the rest of the participants is according to the number they reach the end
