Real-life Maths Kitchen: 1. Cutlery - Sorting into size, shape, number 2. Laying the table therefore following pattern, groups, multiples 3. Playing shop or even better actually shopping in small amounts 4. Ordering food packages after shopping from biggest to smallest, heaviest to lightest, tallest to shortest 5. Count the fruit in the fruit bowl, vegetables on the plate, chips for each person

  3. Real-life Maths Around the home: 1. Socks - Colour, size, shape, pairing, odd & even... 2. Linen - Tea towels - pattern, size... 3. Towels - patterns (twirls, circles, zigzags, ) counting (shells, dots, animals), size, shape, relationship of body size to towel...
