Team Manager Responsibilities • Specifics are agreed upon between you and the Coach. • Traditionally • Handle most of the team communications (email, text, team twitter recommended) • Handle the Team Got Soccer Account • Handle Team Tournament Registrations • Handle Out of Town Hotel Accommodations • Handle Roster changes and updates • Including Club Player Pass Assignments per Game • Handle and keep all team documentation • YOU ARE NOT THE TEAM TREASURER. • Nor is your spouse. • Anything else is worked out with the coach

Team Registration Paperwork • Registration Packets • USYS Registration Form • USYS Medical Release Form • OFC Code of Conduct Form • Copy of their Birth Certificate • Checks (1 for $235 or 2 for $118) • Boys – “ESC” • Girls – “NOKC” • Headshot of Player for Player Pass • .jpg or .gif • 500kb or less

What’s Next? • The Registrars (John and Brian) will enter all the players into Got Soccer. • We will assign them to your team and update any existing accounts. • If they are missing a picture or number, we will ask you to update the player account • Once all players accounts are complete and assigned, we will lock the rosters and create Official Rosters and Player Passes • We will let you know when these are ready to download from your team account and print. • Player Passes are one-sided and must be laminated.

Mid-Season Player Changes • Adding a New Player Mid-Season • Same paperwork as initial registration packet • Must be by October 15th in Fall & April 15th in Spring • Special cases can be brought to the Registrars • Releasing a Player Mid-Season • USYSA General Release Form • MUST BE SIGNED BY RELEASED PLAYER/PARENT • You don’t want to know what happens if they don’t!!!

Mid-Season Changes • Transferring Players between OFC Teams • Open Transfer (no windows) • Requires an email to Registrars with Approvals from both Coaches and Parents in the email chain. • Please state Child’s name, From Team, and To Team in the final forward to the Registrars. • Transferring Players between Clubs • Transfer Window? • Requires a Player Release from Club and new Paperwork Packet

Got Soccer – www.gotsoccer.com • Manager Account • Log in under Teams & Team Official • Complete background check • Needed for each Got Soccer Club System (OFC, NOKC, ESC) • Team Account • Log in under Teams & Team Official • Retrieve Roster and Player Cards • Update Player info • Retrieve League Game Cards • Apply for Leagues & Tournaments supported by Got Soccer

  10. Manager Folders • Make a Binder to keep team info together for use at Tournaments and Games • You will need access to • Player Passes (laminated on a ring) • Player Medical Release Forms and Insurance Cards • Player Birth Certificates • League Rosters • League Game Cards

Tournaments • Required OFC Tournaments • ESC Beat the Heat (Aug 15-17) • NOKC Red Earth Invitational (March) • Tournament Selection and Frequency is up to the Coach • Ask other teams of their experiences if you want to save some research time • Some Tournaments require Notarized Medical Release Forms, so read the Tournament Rules carefully. • Guest Players – Follow Tournament Rules

Leagues • Big Changes By OSA • One Season • August – March (U11-U14) • August – February (U15-U18) • Possible Leagues • OPL3 – Oklahoma Premier League III (City-wide) • OPL 2 - Oklahoma Premier League (State-wide) • OPL 1 - Oklahoma Premier League (State-wide) • PLW - Premier League West (Oklahoma & Texas) • RPL - Regional Premier League (Region III Territory) • NPL – National Premier League (US Club) • Each League has different rules on how to report results • OPL, RPL, PLW – Call in to Got Soccer • NPL – still determining • Club Player Pass – • Allows players to play on another team in League Games • Moved to roster on a game by game basis • OPL, PLW, RPL – Players can Club Pass both directions

Leagues – Changes By OSA • One Season • August – March (U11-U14) • August – February (U15-U18) • This Year Only, Teams choose the League they play in • Each Year Afterwards, League choice is by Promotion/Relegation • Your Team may play up an age group ONLY if you play in OPL 1 of the high age group • If you are relegated out, you will drop to OPL 1 of your own age group • U11 – OPL 1 is 11v11; OPL 2 & 3 are 8v8 • If you play 11v11, you will not be eligible for Presidents Cup

Leagues – Changes By OSA • Club Player Pass: • You may not CPP between teams in OPL1 • You may CPP between teams in OPL 2 & 3 or in different leagues • OPL 1 and PLW have limited Subs (U14 and Up) • You may only sub players 7 times per half of a game (and OT) • If a player is injured, then you must play down a player until they are subbed or they return • All other age groups have unlimited subs

National Premier League (US Club) • It is a separate league and association from USYSA • Each Player registers on their own (Players - $18) • South Central District – Oklahoma, North Texas, South Texas • Will play multiple games on select weekends (1 in Tulsa, 2 in Dallas, 1 in Houston) • Only submitting White (2nd) teams this year to gauge competitiveness • Winners of each division will qualify for the NPL Champions Cup • You may use players from other OFC Teams that are US Club Registered in any game. (Similar to Club Player Pass System) • Brian Gordon – OFC US Club Registrar
