Absences/Tardies • Please make appointments in the afternoon (latest possible) • 3 consecutive absences will be reported to attendance specialist (home visitation) • I need to call parents if child has a lot of absences • Students can’t be absent more than 7 days a year unless there is a medical condition and it is excused by doctor

  5. Conference • Per. 5 Available for parent conferences, e-mail or make phone calls

  6. Rules 1. Be in your seat with all necessary materials by the time the bell rings. 2. Respect others by not talking when the teacher or other students are talking. 3. Do not leave your seat. 4. Keep your hands to yourself. 5. Demonstrate active listening in class discussions and small groups. ***You are bright! Shoot for the stars!***

  7. Consequences 1. Warning 2. Time-out (2 mins. outside classroom to reflect) and action plan (during nutrition, lunch, or afterschool). 3. Speaker phone conference with parents. You call them! 4. After school detention or paper pick up during lunch. 5. Parent conference

Supplies • Folders (math, science and history) • Composition books or single subject notebooks for each class • Post-it, dry erase markers, book covers, 2 pencils, highlighters -2 colors, color pencils, paper (graphing, lined paper, and computer paper), sheet protectors, project supplies (box of art supplies), and flash drive • Students can get supplies from me
