  1. Four Key Changes that Liquor Beverage Startups Should Expect in 2022 Beverage startups are undergoing changes in recent years. What changes should beverage startups expect in 2022? The beverages industry is becoming more competitive; beverage startups will face four key changes. Changes can be seen as the increase in e-commerce channels. With more people shopping online by liquor delivery in Calgary, it will be easier for brands to reach their consumers directly without paying retail prices and margins that retailers take. Moreover, there will be an increase in smaller brands that can provide niche products and experiences, unlike anything we've seen before, and these new brands will also have to focus on sustainability. 4 Important Considerations to Look After: 1. Changes in the Beverage Industry While many brands have successfully pursued an online-first strategy, the shift to an online-first approach requires proper innovation. The consumer shopping experience is evolving rapidly in the

  2. online environment, and in order to keep pace, brands will have to learn how to create an engaging digital experience that gets consumers to give them a try in-store like an online liquor store in Canada. 2. Changes in E-Commerce Channels As more and more consumers shop online, there will be a shift in how and where people shop for their daily drinks. Smaller brands will be able to reach more consumers than ever before, as consumers start to shop online for more of their daily needs. As a result, less prominent brands may struggle. 3. Changes in Small Brands In the past, smaller brands have relied on huge brand names to get their products on the shelf. However, with the fast and efficient delivery channels offered by the likes of Amazon, smaller brands will soon be offering competitive prices. One way they will be able to do this is through the inclusion of the use of traceable packaging. For example, if a small brand decides to use eco-friendly packaging, they will be able to convince customers to buy their product because it is being shipped in an eco-friendly manner. Due to these packaging investments, these small brands will be able to compete on price and become more competitive than before. Through these advantages, it will be easy for these smaller brands to succeed in their market. 4. Consumer Behavior Changes In this changing environment, the beverages industry will need to focus on creating new ways to engage consumers. In the past, one of the biggest challenges was discovery; how do you get consumers to try something new? Another shift that will affect consumers is the increase of Millennials as the majority of consumers. Millennials consume beverages with a new mindset, with food becoming a major part of the beverage purchasing process.
