  3. Modo de Expediente Teclas necesarias para llegar a la ventana de modo de configuración. 1) Presione MDI 2) Presione PRGRM/CONVERS NOTE: IPS no tiene qué estar desplazado a su vez para obtener las fichas de la imagen en vivo.

  5. Defined stock orientation On stock orient you have two options. 1) Main spindle. 2) Flip part. For this training will use MN SPINDLE.

  6. When you defined your stock be sure To fill out all the necessary information. Notice: that with each information tab the picture on the right will prompt with arrows the dimensions needed. Defined stock

  7. Defined jaws When you define your jaws the picture on the right Will prompt with arrows the dimensions needed. Notice The instructions on the bottom of the screen for each of the tabs.

  8. Output stock information If you decide to output the Information use to defined your stock and jaws. You may do so by pressing the F4 key and it will ask you where do you want to store it using the IPS recorder. This information can be added to your program for future reference.

  9. Tool offsets mode Select tool offsets mode for tool types and geometry.

  10. It’s necessary to fill out all of the information tabs for each of the tools in order for live image to work correctly. Notice The instructions on the right side of the screen and on the bottom side for each of the tabs.

  11. Tool type selection The tool type tab is where you will make the selection on the type of tool required from your application. You have 10 selections to choose from according to your needs. Scroll to some of the tools and notice how some of the tabs get grayed and fill with the letters N/A meaning not all tools need the same information.

  12. Tool tip direction On some of the tools a tool tip may be require for cutter compensation purposes.

  13. Defined tool geometry Defined your tool geometry by filling out the proper information tabs for each of the tools. The picture on the right will prompt with arrows the dimensions needed for each of the tabs.

  14. Activating live image • Load program to memory. • Press MEMORY key. • Press CURNT/COMDS key. • Use the cursor key PAGE UP to find the live image screen.

  15. Live image screenwith out stock and jaws definition. The live image screen will appear like the screen shot on the right if there is no stock definition.

  16. Live image screenwith stock and jaws defined. Once you have defined your stock and jaws the live image screen should look like the screen shot on the right.

  17. Cycle start When you press cycle start a window will prompt asking whether you want to continue or reset to stop. That is a safety warning.

  18. Live image This feature allows an operator to view a real time simulation of a part as it is cut. These features of live image can be activated by the following settings. Sett#214,215,218

  19. Settings to rememberfor live image You can use the intuitive to set your stock and jaws and tailstock or you may use the following settings.
