  2. Where Does My Time Go? Add Up All of Your Committed Time, Multiply by 7, then Subtract from 168. How Many Hours Do You Have Left, or Are You in the Negative?? Look at the Time You Spend on Different Areas of Your Life. Does the Time You Spend Reflect your Goals?

  3. Effective Time Management is… • Knowing what I want • Making a plan • Creating a balance • Being Flexible Poor Time Management is… • Lacking goals • Refusing to think/plan ahead • Overbooking myself KEY TERMS FOR TIME MANAGEMENT? GOAL-PLAN-STEPS

  4. Goal • What do I want to achieve? • How does my use of time affect my goals? • Can/Should I make any changes in my use of time? • If so, what kinds of changes?

  5. Plan • What type of schedule (calendar, planner, etc.) will work best for me? • Get it! • Create it! • Post it where you can’t miss it!
