  3. Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear (Isa. 59:1-2).

  19. Evil shall slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous shall be condemned (Psa. 34:21). The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them… As righteousness leads to life, so he who pursues evil pursues it to his own death (Prov. 11:3, 19). A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul (Prov. 18:7).
