  1. Who Am I By: Cole Hoover Click to advance slides put pictures will load on their own.

  2. Hemispheric Mode Indicator Global • I tend solve problems logically • During vigorous working, when I come to a problem that I cannot figure out how to solve I like to think logically and not just use abstract guesses to try and solve it. Umm.. (x-2)(x-1)=0 Maybe x= 8 ?? x^2-3x+2=0 No! Think! Oh! I got it! If (x-2)(x-1)=0, then x=1or x=2

  3. Hemispheric Mode Indicator Continued… • I like to take part in open ended experiments • When working I like to be able to precede with my experiment in any order I want to rather than have a set order I would have to follow. Even if it may not be the safest route. Laser – glasses + steam = Laser through safety glasses = + = Laser Safety Glasses No Fun  = Very Fun 

  4. Myers-Briggs Personality Test ESTP • I don’t worry and take whatever comes my way • Whenever I have plans to go to a party or some other activity and something else interferes I deal with it and get back to my scheduled plans. Party Wednesday night ? Nope, Oh well I guess its going to be Thursday

  5. Myers-Briggs personality test continued… • My favorite question; “How do things work?” • Whenever I see something that I don’t fully understand, or just think is interesting, I research it or take it apart to see how it really does work. Keyboard half removed Keyboard fully removed

  6. Learning Style Inventory • I need to “take apart” a problem to figure out how to solve it. • When working, I like to take apart the problem by making it into steps that I can figure out individually, therefore making it easier to solve. -2x+3+5x=8x+2-4 -2x+3+5x=3x+3 So, 8x-2=3x+3 Break it up! 8x+2-4=8x-2 Then, 5x=5. That means that x=1

  7. Learning Style Inventory Continued… • I take my ideas and put them to a practical application. • Whenever I come up with an idea, I try to take note of it and then on a later date put it into action. No ! Better, Super marshmallow gun!! Marshmallow Gun ??
