Recently, the faculty decided tointroduce a new programme “life sciences engineering” to complement the existing programmes. OBJECTIVES: Education of engineerswith strong scientific background. Graduates shall be able to apply their knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences and unit operations to solve problems using scientific methodology in industry (and, optionally, in research). Disciplines grouped by topic: 60 % Compulsory 40 % Optional distributed as: * Optionally, Engineering Sciences subjects may be replaced by Biological, Chemical, or Economics Science Opportunities to go abroad: Optional, up to 2 semesters after the intermediate examination Date: January 2001
