  4. Forerunners and Right Handers • Live in accordance to • Laws of Allah (swt) • Teachings of Muhammad (saws) • Enjoin the good • Forbid the evil • Allah (swt) himself describes them

  5. Surah 76 • Right handers drink from a cup mixed with kaafuur (plant used in medicine) • Forerunners drink directly from the spring of tasneem • Fulfilled their oaths • Fear a day when evil is widespread

  6. Surah 76 • Fed the poor, orphans and prisoners despite their love for their food, for the pleasure of Allah • Fear Allah(swt) • Allah (swt) protects them from the evil of the Day • Allah (swt) gives them a beautiful light and joy • Allah (swt) rewards them for their patience

  7. Drink from the Spring • Those brought near (forerunners) drink directly from the spring • The forerunners thirst is thoroughly quenched and need to drink is eliminated • People of the right hand drink a mixture in proportion to their deeds done in this life

  8. Hadith Qudsi • Allah (swt) declared war on anyone that are against his allies • Allah’s allies come closer to him by doing acts beyond the obligatory • Allah (swt) loves His slave (forerunners) that do things that require extra efforts

  9. Sin and the Allies of Allah • Even the Prophet (saws) repented seventy times a day • The Prophet of Repentance • The Prophet of Mercy • Allah (swt) is pleased with the repentance of His slave

  10. Reflection • Reflect upon our actions • Are we doing what Allah (swt) has prescribed • Are we doing just the obligatory • Are we doing extra acts • Do we fear Allah (swt)

  12. The People of the Left Hand • Oppressors of themselves • Commit sins intentionally • Unbelievers • Losers • Grievous punishment is their due

  13. The People of the Left Hand • Awliyya of Shaytaan • Contradict the Prophet (saws) • Neglect Allah (swt) • Fulfill obligations to Shaytaan

  14. Identifying People of the Left Hand • Do not truly believe in Muhammad (saws) • Believe Muhammad did not come to the entire races • Believe that they do not need Muhammad to worship Allah (swt) • Believes that the laws given through Muhammad are not complete

Identifying People of the Left Hand • Believes in part • Rejects in part • They are kafirs • Wish to adopt a way in between • Rebellious as the Christians and Jews • Say it is not obligatory to follow the teachings of Muhammad (saws) • Lies on Allah or His Prophet • They are of the Zalimuun and will never be successful

  16. Identifying People of the Left Hand • Oppressors of themselves • Commit crimes • Engage in riba • Like the lifestyle of the unbelievers • Indulge in alcohol, drugs and haram products • Commit fornication and adultery • Indulge in SHIRK
