Jurisich Miklós Secondary Grammar School. The history of our school. The school is the oldest school in our area. At first it was led by the Jesuits, then the Benedictines. In 1947 the state took away the school from the church, and the school was named after Miklós Jurisich.

  2. The history of our school • The school is the oldest school in our area. • At first it was led by the Jesuits, then the Benedictines. • In 1947 the state took away the school from the church, and the school was named after Miklós Jurisich.

  3. The new school building • It lies at the foot of Kőszeg Mountain, so the air is fresh and the nature is beautiful. • It was built in 1908. In 2008 a commemorativecoin was edited on its 100-year anniversary, so it was renewed. • There are also special classrooms for different subjects, and a sporthall.

  4. Departments • Bilingual class • Special class for talented students with difficult social background. • Special language-preparatory class • Tourism specialized class • Biology-Chemistry special class

  5. The dormitory • Almost 40% of the students live in the dorm of the school. • It is situated about 100 m from the school. • It has quite big rooms, proper bathrooms and toilets on each floor. • There are lots of interesting cultural and entertaining programs, that the students really enjoy.

  7. Projects • Our school has been taking part in different projects for a long time. • This is a tradition in which we are gladly participating.
