  7. What is Dynamic Cardio?

The Philosophy behind Dynamic Cardio! • It’s more than just a basic march! • Dynamic Cardio integrates all forms of movement into a group fitness class! • Anyone of any fitness level can participate! • It does not matter if you are a beginner or veteran fitness instructor. Anyone can choreography a dynamic class! • It’s not about perfecting the choreography … • The purpose of Dynamic Cardio is to get instructors to think outside of the conventional box and get creative with their choreography!

Tips to Teaching a Dynamic Cardio class! • Teaching a Dynamic Cardio class comes from within! • Be passionate about what you are doing and leave all reservations at the door! • Stick to the basics! • Keep the choreography simple! • Cater your choreography and your music to your class! • Keep things fresh to keep you and your participants motivated. The goal is to leave them wanting more! • Not everything needs to face the front! • Even the most basic of movements can become dynamic when you move around the room.

  14. All You Need … MUSIC • You can purchase edited music from any major fitness resource distributor (i.e. Burntrax, Power Music) • Creating your own mix controls what content enters your class. Be adventurous - buy CDs from your local music store and making your own music combination. • If you are interested in becoming a “Mix Master”, you can edit your own music by using specialty editing software, such as Sound Forge.

  15. All You Need (cont.) CHOREOGRAPHY • The internet has a variety of group fitness choreography that is free and easy to access. Check out You Tube and Turnstep.com for choreography ideas. • Attending workshops and seminars to learn the latest fitness choreography trends and steps. • Don’t be afraid to be creative and invent your own steps. Sometimes the best moves are the ones you create yourself!
