  12. Who are our clients? Brittany’s first encounter with BCHG was as a young adult living in the Doylestown Shelter with her Mom. The youngest of six children, Brittany graduated from high school while in the program and was the first in her family to obtain a Bachelor’s degree. She went on to obtain her MSW. Brittany came back to BCHG for pre-purchase housing counseling and recently made settlement on a home of her own, another first in her immediate family! Congratulations Brittany!

  13. Challenges • Access • Bucks County is a large county. BCHG has increased accessibility using technology by offering webinars and online homebuyer education. • Affordable homes are often in disrepair as a result of foreclosure resulting in higher costs to buyers

  14. Challenges • Funding • Always a challenge – we are working on ways to streamline work processes and track different outcomes to attract more funders. • Program changes – fewer numbers of foreclosure prevention clients resulted in the elimination of foreclosure prevention counseling effective March 2016
