  1. MarinduqueLand Corp. is an agri-based company located in Marinduque, an island province in the MIMAROPA Region located east of Mindoro, south of Lucena City, west of Bondoc Peninsula and north of Romblon.

  2. Our company is a catalyst of natural farming in Marinduque. We capitalize in the surge of awareness about the value of the coconut products especially the health benefits of the virgin coconut oil.

  3. We aim to integrate all aspects of coconut farming and the species interdependent on its produce especially apis cerana or native honeybees called "ligwan" in Marinduque.

  4. Our mission is to uplift the standard of living of the most neglected among the farmers – the coconut farmers.

  5. Poverty Alleviation in the Coconut Producing Provinces • The establishment in Marinduque of the village-type oil mill. • Development of local apiculture. • Template for our plan to expand to the rest of the coconut-producing provinces in the Philippines. • Our strategy is to bring the manufacturing operation close to the source of raw materials..

  6. Poverty Alleviation in the Coconut Producing Provinces • We aim to break this cycle of developmental imbalance by producing the finished products in the impoverished areas and sell it profitably to the more affluent markets. • This will result in: • employment opportunities in the local communities, • assured market for the farmers who produce the raw materials, • better profit margin for the local agents and store owners, • steady source of cargos for the local shippers, and • increased tax revenue for the local government.

  7. Manufacturing Practices That Are Ecologically Sound The success of our business model is dependent on how we can make our operation as green as possible. One reason why big firms shy away from investing in rural areas is due to the inadequacy of infrastructure facilities.  Electricity and transportation, which are dependent on petroleum, are unreliable and costly, a sure deterrent to big factories that need a lot of power to operate.

  8. Manufacturing Practices That Are Ecologically Sound Our solution is to manufacture goods that conform to nature.  We don't rely on big machines that are power-hungry; instead, we depend on the microorganisms and insects to manufacture the oil and wax for us.  We don't rely on artificial chemicals but count on coconuts, bee by-products and herbal extracts to concoct safer products for consumers.

  9. Manufacturing Practices That Are Ecologically Sound We contribute to increase food production by allowing our bees to pollinate fruit-bearing trees and vegetables sans the use of harmful chemicals and pesticides. Our finished products have long shelf life, which can endure shipping delays, as opposed to exporting raw materials that can easily rot in ports.

  10. Natural Farming and Sustainable Use of Land Our company intends to explore and pursue natural farming in collaboration with local farmers, one of the important goals of which is to supply us with organic materials like herbal extracts and oils needed for our product-line. We also intend to promote the propagation of local breed of livestock, to be raised using local food sources.

  11. Natural Farming and Sustainable Use of Land We value the diversity of life and the interdependence of species because the growth of our business is intertwined with the sustainability of our natural resources.
