  6. Hours? Students: After morning announcements until 2:30 pm. Teachers: Anytime at all.

  7. What do I bring? • Bring the stick that your teacher will give you.

  8. Talking? Yes. Quietly.

  9. Food? No.

  10. Other rules? • Don’t go behind the circulation desk.

  11. Kindergarten and 1st Grade: 1 book for 2 weeks. How many books may I check out?

  12. 2nd - 5th Grades 2 books for 2 weeks.

  13. Where do I put my book when I’m done with it? The book goes on top of the circulation desk with the back cover facing up.

  14. NOT on a shelf…we’ll never find it again!

  15. Remember, use your library stick to hold the place of your book while you’re looking.

  16. What if I have an overdue book? In accordance with GA state law 20-2-1013: No one will be allowed to check out a book while he or she owes a fine or has an overdue library book.

  17. What are the proper ways to care for my library book?

  18. Keep the book close to your body.

  19. Read with clean hands

  20. Use a book mark

  21. Keep away from babies and dogs!

  22. Don’t get it wet!

  23. Don’t leave it outside.

  24. Return it on time.

  25. If the book is destroyed, and no other children can read it, we will ask you to pay for it. • A paperback is $5.00 • A hardback is $15.00

  26. What happens if you don’t follow the rules? • You will be sent back to class with no book.

  27. Our Computers • Never “surf” without supervision. Stay within our County Media Page unless your teacher has given you permission to visit another website.
