  2. What are our District Programs? • Pediatric Trauma Program • Spotlight on Education Program • Spotlight on Service Program • Member Recognition Program • Service Leadership Programs • Key Leader

  3. Pediatric Trauma Program • CNH Key Club’s District Focus • Raises funds and awareness for traumatic injuries for kids ages 14 and younger • Over 12,000 deaths annually • Goal for the 2016-2017 term is $185,000 • Clubs can raise funds for donations • Can apply for CNH Foundation PTP Grants for community awareness

  4. Spotlight on Education Program (SOEP) • Promoted through the newsletter to educate the members on various topics and showcase education efforts • Examples: • September-Pediatric Trauma Program • November-Kiwanis Family • October-Region Training Conference

  5. Spotlight on Service Program (SOSP) • Promoted at the beginning of the month as a focus on specific projects that clubs can focus on • Showcase of various service projects from events related to the past month • Submitted by clubs all over the District • Get featured on the Cyberkey and the District Newsletter

  6. Member Recognition Program (MRP) • Automatic District Recognition system for all dues-paid Key Club members • Recorded by individual club secretaries in the club Monthly Report Form • Meeting different tiers of requirements of multiple categories will have ranks • Bonze, Silver, Gold, Platinum

  7. Each club should have a designated person who can help organize and record data in the MRP tab while promoting MRP. Encourage members to keep track of their own progress. Lt. Governors will send in the final list of names to the District.

  8. Service Leadership Programs • Service Leadership Programs (SLPs) are clubs that are sponsored by Kiwanis • Kiwanis Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, Circle K, Aktion Club and other programs • Depends on leadership training, guidance in event planning and club growth, and financial support

  9. Service Leadership Programs • Contact your local Kiwanis clubs to find out which SLPs exist nearby! • Collaborate with other SLPs for: • Service Projects • Fundraising • Kiwanis One Day • Sponsoring another SLP (ex: Collaborate with a Circle K to sponsor a Builders Club)

  10. Key Leader • Leadership development program for teens ages 14-18 • Weekend of learning, teamwork, and fun as you bond with other attendees through workshops and activities • A different experience from typical officer and region training conferences
