  1. The Magical Attractions to See on Broome Tours Broome is a unique place offering one of the last great wilderness areas of the world with an exotic history and a distinct culture. Broome day tours are a fantastic way to see this amazing area, but if your time is limited, you need to make sure that you that you prioritise some of the magical attractions that you just have to see. Horizontal Falls Horizontal Falls is a natural phenomenon on the Kimberley coast. The falls are considered one of the greatest natural world wonders and are created as seawater flows faster on one side. The falls can reach up to 25 metres in width with a waterfall up to 5 metres high during the spring tide. As the tides change, the fall direction is reversed to create massive tidal whirlpools. Riddell Beach While it is trickier to find and not as well known, Riddell Beach can rival the beauty of Cable Beach. Riddell Beach has incredible rock formations and 300 metres of stunning sands at low tide. Walk the 1.7 kilometres of beach to the bluffs or kick back and enjoy the clear, blue waters. Dinosaur Footprints Broome has the largest dinosaur footprints in the world, and even more have been uncovered by palaeontologists to make the collection even more impressive. The fossilise prints are 130 million years old on flat rocks that can only be seen during low tide. You can walk the trails down to the sandstone rocks preserving the footprints, but if you don’t want to risk walking on the slippery surface, you can see plaster casts of the original prints at the top of the cliff. Diverse Fishing Waters If you enjoy fishing, then you need to include it in your Broome tours. The Broome waters are teaming with fish. Barramundi, Threadfin salmon and Mangrove Jack are

  2. easy to spot in Roebuck Bay. There are Broome day tours that focus on fishing, or it can be included in an adventure tour package. The Staircase to the Moon This rare phenomenon occurs between March to October over Roebuck Bay. There are specific dates when the moon rises over the extremely low tide exposed mudflats to create a stunning and magical vista. The Broome Aquarium The aquarium is a recreation of the stunning marine environment around the Broome area. This will allow you to not only see some beautiful conditions, but you can also gain insight into the intricate Broome marine ecosystem. Gantheaume Point The aqua blue waters and red rocks make the colours at Gantheaume Point simply glorious. There are spectacular views from the cliffs that can only be reached by a stretched of unsealed road. At high tides, you’re likely to see locals jumping into the sparkling waters or fishing. There is parking and a visitors centre showcasing the history of the area. If you are considering Broome tours, you should speak to us. We offer a wide selection of packages from Broome day tours to more extensive trips. The Broome Kimberley team would be delighted to discuss your requirements and help you plan your dream break.
