  1. Surgical Errors Are Medical Malpractice?

  2. We all trust those in the medical field because most of us know little to nothing about the human body. Sure some of us may have a hobby of binge-watching hospital dramas but would have no clue what to do in a real emergency room. People go to school for years to invest their time in helping people get better. Even though doctors and other health care providers vow to keep the best interest of people first, the truth is, not all health care providers are interested in keeping people healthy. Just because you got the degree, does not mean you should practice with your degree. Just because you work in a hospital does not mean that the health care providers care.

  3. What is Medical Malpractice? Medical malpractice occurs when a patient suffers an avoidable, serious injury or premature death due to a health care provider’s failure to act according to established medical standards.

  4. Here some examples of medical malpractice:

  5. Failure to diagnose a serious condition Misdiagnose a serious condition Surgical errors Failing to respond in a timely manner Failure to appropriately discharge Prescribe the wrong medication or wrong dosage Failing to avoid birth injury Negligent care by providing wrong medical records
